About The Owner

Calvin Leveille is the Owner and Creator of Big Smoky Enterprises. A double-bred Metis, Calvin was raised on the Big Smoky river where his family farmed and ranched – and still do. With over 30 years of drilling experience in the oil industry, Calvin prides himself on an international portfolio, his ability to be mobile and ready to work, and his self-made origins. He is an organized and solution-focused professional with an entrepreneurial background, supporting multiple facets of the oil and gas industry.

Throughout the progress of his career, he has developed a refined skillset; this includes interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges. Calvin’s First Nations background has created a natural drive to support local whenever possible by hiring within the community; he feels especially honoured to work with other First Nations, or cross-cultural clientele. Dedicated to mutually beneficial outcomes, Calvin offers exceptional contract management, team leadership, and open communication through any project.
